The Ambassador program is a way for our most active and passionate authors to shape, support, and grow the community here at Sudowrite. If you’re already one of the more active voices in the community and feel like you have exciting ideas for the future of Sudowrite, this may be for you!
What are Ambassadors?
In short, our best and brightest! Ambassadors contribute to our product and community in a myriad of ways, including…
- Resourcing the community! Connecting folks in our Discord and out on the world wide web to resources they need to have a great experience with Sudowrite.
- Creating videos! Highlighting tips and best practices, exploring popular topics, and sharing these on our YouTube or in our Discord community.
- Hosting live sessions! From classes to informal social gatherings, Ambassadors lead our live programming efforts.
- Contributing to crowd-sourced docs! Creating valuable documentation that helps everyone get the most out of Sudowrite.
…and many other projects which help to grow and support the Sudowrite community.
How do I become an Ambassador?
We love your ambition! The first step to becoming an Ambassador is simply being an active member of community—either in our Discord server, or out there in the world. Next, you should have an idea for how you’d like to be involved: Ambassadors specialize as Teachers, Experts, or Creators.
Each role plays a crucial part in making our community and product special. Below, you'll find detailed information about each role, including responsibilities and how to earn the role.
🍎 Teachers
Teachers are the backbone of our educational initiatives, providing hands-on guidance and facilitating learning experiences related to Sudowrite.
Teacher responsibilities:
- Teach classes (e.g., Quick Start and Deep Dive Sessions)
- Facilitate workshops and author hours
- Contribute to course development
- Provide student support and feedback
How to become a teacher:
- Apply to audition for (and pass!) a teacher trial session
✨ Experts
Experts are our super-duper superusers, outstanding authors with in-depth product knowledge and specialized skills in the Sudowrite community.
Expert responsibilities:
- Engage actively in Discord, supporting users and answering questions
- Contribute to crowd-sourced documentation
- Provide feedback and insights to the Sudowrite team
- Optionally host or co-host Author Hours
How to become an expert:
- Take (and pass!) the Sudowrite Expertise test, by application or invitation
🎬 Creators
Creators produce written or recorded media that showcases Sudowrite's capabilities, inspiring and educating other AI-curious authors. Think of our creators as an enthusiastic street team.
Creator responsibilities:
- Develop videos, tutorials, and other content
- Share and advocate for Sudowrite online, including in social channels
- Work on projects showcasing Sudowrite's impact
- Optionally organize and host community events
How to become a creator:
- Share your primary channel and submit at least 3 existing examples of Sudowrite content for review by the team
